Complex trauma
With over 9 years of experience working with complex trauma patients, I am able to help, and be part of, the journey from injury to achieving long term goals.
Home Visits

I am able to travel to patient's houses within a 40 mile radius of Tonbridge (further distances can be considered). This is usually for the initial stage of rehabilitation, if mobility is challenging or otherwise patient preference.
Please note - there is a travel charge of 0.45p per mile for fuel costs and travel time charges in some cases.
Gym visits

I am able to travel to a patients gym within a 40 mile radius of Tonbridge (again further distances an be considered). Here I am able to review progress with gym programmes and update them/run through using equipment as necessary.

Gym based rehabilitation is a key component to the longer term picture and will allow patients to be independently active, maintain and build on their strength gains.

Please note - there is a travel charge of 0.45p per mile for fuel costs and travel time charges in some cases.
Case reports and case manager contact

I have over 6 years experience of working with case managers to support patients through their legal journey. I am able to support patients with production of an 'Initial needs assessment' report with recommendations for rehabilitation made and rehabilitation costs quoted.

I offer a personalised service, with regular and easy contact via WhatsApp and other platforms.
Individualised exercise programmes

Whether patients need an exercise programme to follow at home for ease, or whether a gym based programme is more appropriate, I am able to support with this.
Exercises can be adapted, progressed or a more focused approach of training can be used using both my physiotherapist and strength & conditioning experience. I am able to provide an app based programme for patients to follow and refer to when needed.
Gait analysis

I am able to review gait in a number of ways from treadmill assessment to outdoor mobility which can also include running gait analysis. I am able to use an app based recording programme to review gait and focus on specific areas of improvement. This will be complemented with exercises to target these areas of improvement. Sessions can review previous recordings and compare to assess progress.
Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT)

Team work makes the dream work!

As many of you know, a good recovery is achieved with a good team of multi-disciplinary members. Amputees work extremely closely with their prosthetists, trauma patients may require some psychology support and the input from every member of the team, is what makes rehabilitation possible. Recovery can be a longer road for some to follow, so it is important to have all elements covered.

I enjoy working as part of a team and do not feel this part of my job is any different. I endeavour to keep the communication channels open as much as possible and I am always open to organising meetings or MDT discussions where necessary.
